We actually made it around the WHOLE block without

either one asking to get off and walk.

We thought that was pretty amazing.

We are looking forward to many fun

times this spring/summer on these bikes.

The Aquarium

Mommy & Daddy played hookie from work (shhhhh)

to bring us to the Aquarium.

We saw the sharks in the shark tank!

Mitchell became friendly with the newest baby Sea Lion, Hut.


We played in the Touch Tank with Daddy.

Delaney wanted to jump right in to find Nemo!

Update.....

Sorry for the late update.

Delaney's procedure was long & hard on all of us, especially her.

But she seems to be back to her normal chatty, sassy self.

She was, however, diagnosed with Kidney Reflux on both sides. :(

Her left side is a Level 2 and her right side is a level 3.

Level 5 being the worse, level 4 and 5 go straight to surgery.

Delaney will not go straight to surgery but will have to

take an antibiotic each day for at least a year to see if time

will help dissipate to Kidney Reflux.

She will be monitored by ultrasound throughout the year to

make sure there isn't any damage to her kidneys.

And sadly, she will have this procedure done again next year.

We have an appointment with the Pediatric Urologist

at Yale to see what our next step will be.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments, thoughts, and prayers.

They meant the world to us.

A lot to ask but...

can you please think of Miss Delaney tomorrow while she

will be at Yale having a procedure to determine why she is

getting so many UTI's. Mommy & Daddy need all the thoughts

(prayers, if you are so inclined) to get through tomorrow!

We know she will be fine in the end but it is still stressful, nonetheless.

We thank you for all your thoughts and will update you when we can!
